Day 1
After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and depart from Lisbon. You will go up to Obidos, which is a place of historical significance. You will
see the impressive 18th Century blue tiles which line the walls within the southern gate. It is known as Porta da Vila and acts as the main entrance. After visiting Obidos you will continue to a cute little fishing port, Nazare, with beautiful views of the beaches. After that your next stop will be Fatima.
Fátima is a city in Portugal famous for the religious visions that are said to have taken place there in 1917. Your final destination will be the charming
town of Leiria, where you will check in the hotel. Dinner provided with overnight stay in Leiria.

Day 2
After breakfast you will continue on your tour exploring the ruins of Conimbria, one of the largest ancient Roman sites in Portugal. The city walls are
largely intact, and the mosaic floors and foundations of many houses and public buildings remain. In the baths, you can view the network of stone heating ducts beneath the now-missing floors. You then will see the National Forest of Bucaco, where you will see the delightful refuge of Cypress groves, ferns, statues, fountains, and formal gardens. After that, the final destination for the day will be Aveiro. Dinner provided with overnight stay in Aveiro.

Day 3 -
After breakfast you will depart for Porto, a city designated as having World Heritage status by UNESCO. After a half day city tour of Porto you will have the afternoon free to explore the rest of the city on your own. Dinner provided with overnight stay in Porto.

Day 4 –
After breakfast you will depart from Porto and continue up to Minho. You will visit Guimaraes, which was the first capital in 1139. You then will
continue on to Braga, which is the main religious center of Portugal. You will visit Colina Sagrada and the Castle and Palace of Duques of Bragança. Near
Braga, you will see the sanctuary of Jesus de Braga, with it's monumental baroque staircase cascading down a hill. You will pass by Barcelos, town of the
legendary rooster. Nowadays it is the main symbol of Portugal. Dinner provided with overnight stay in Porto.

Day 5 –
After breakfast, depart Porto for Amarante, a pretty riverside town. The nearby landscape is speckled with granite houses with wooden and wrought-iron balconies. Visit the Gardens of the Casa de Mateus. The beautiful baroque Casa has been made famous as the label for Mateus Wine. After visiting the other highlights of the area you will return to the hotel, having an overnight stay in Urgeirica.

Day 6 -
After breakfast you will depart from Urgeirica and go to the inlands of Portugal through the Serra De Estrela Mountains, the highest point of Portugal. You will discover the main traditional areas and continue on to Castelo De Vide, where you will spend the night.

Day 7 -
After breakfast you will drive through green hills and golden plains to Estremoz, famous for its marble quarries. Portugal is the world’s second largest
exporter of marble and these quarries date from Roman times. Onwards to Evora, a living museum of tradition, history, and handicrafts. Enjoy a walking tour of this enchanting walled city. Evora is designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and one of Portugal’s treasures. Return to Lisbon in the afternoon.
