Day 1
After arriving in Lisbon International Airport, you will meet our representative at the airport, and be transferred to your hotel. After a brief informational about your tour, you will have theafternoon free to relax or discover the city on your
own.

Day 2
After breakfast you will have a half day tour to the main historical sites of Lisbon. You will go to Rossio, the very heart of Lisbon. Alfama, the oldest and most picturesque quarter ( with a stop for wine tasting in a handicraft store). You then will drive along the river to admire Black Horse Square, crossing the bridge over Tagus River. There will be stops at Belém Tower and at the Monument to the Discoveries. Next is Jerónimos Monastery (guided tour of the church, which is one of the most beautiful in Europe) and the Coach Museum (the world's largest collection of coaches) (If the tour is on a Monday, these two sights are closed on Mondays, and will be replaced by Ajuda Palace or Fundação Medeiros).

Day 3
After breakfast you will go northward to Obidos, amedieval town of narrow streets surrounded by walls.Further on, you will visit the fishing port of Nazaré.
From there you will see the architectural landmarks, the Monasteries of Batalha and Alcobaça, which all reflect the faith that brings thousands of pilgrims to
Fátima; Dinner and overnight stay in Leiria.

Day 4
After breakfast, a visit to Conímbriga will be like returning to the days of the Roman occupation. Coimbra invites you to discover it's old traditions and
University. In the afternoon enjoy the exuberance of the forest of Buçaco and Aveiro which is the city of canals. Dinner and overnight stay in Espinho.

Day 5
After breakfast you will see Porto, the 2nd city of Portugal. You will discover the riverside area, old houses, palaces, churches which history has made eternal and Port wine, known worldwide. Your afternoon is free in Oporto. Dinner and overnight stay in Oporto.

Day 6
After breakfast visit Minho, the northwest province of Portugal. You will see Guimarães, birthplace of the nation; castle and Palace of Duques of Bragança. After this continue to Braga, a city of archbishops and the country's religious capital with the oldest cathedral of Portugal and the sanctuary of Bom Jesus de Braga. You will pass by the beautiful greenery of Barcelos, the town of the rooster legend. Dinner and overnight stay in Porto.

Day 7
After breakfast you will enter the Port Wine region, a landscape speckled with granite houses and wooden or wrought-iron balconies. You will see the Douro Valley - by way of Amarante and Vila Real. In the mountains lies Viseu - a city of warriors and painters. Dinner and overnight stay in Urgeiriça.

Day 8
After breakfast you will drive to the heart ofPortugal. Here you will experience the beauty of the Estrela Mountain Range, which is the highest point of the country. It is a world of shepherds and their flocks, and is famous for its cheese, snow, and harsh, irregular landscapes. You will see Castelo Branco, with its lovely gardens and staircase of the kings. Further on you will see the beautiful Castelo de Vide, proud of its Jewish quarter of whitewashed houses. Dinner and overnight stay Castelo de Vide.

Day 9
After breakfast you will travel southward through the hills and extensive green and golden plains. You will find Estremoz and its marble quarries, and Évora, a
living museum of tradition, history, handicrafts and food. Return to Lisbon with overnight stay.

Day 10
After breakfast you will depart from Lisbon to Azures for five nights. There you will relax on the enticing Portuguese beaches.

Day 15
After breakfast you will depart from Azores and return back to Lisbon. Overnight stay in Lisbon.

Day 16
According to your flight time we can provide a transfer to the international airport. Please check with us for prices and additional information.
